Similar to my previous post, this code generates a UUID of the new v7 type, which has a Unix-timestamp base. This keeps UUIDs sortable by creation-date, which is useful when using them as database keys, for example You can either use this inline in your select statement, or convert it to a function.
It recently came to my attention that a recent plugin update had broken all images on the website. It basically meant I had to go over everything I’ve ever written and fix the links. Thankfully, I don’t update often. Images should be back up now. If I’ve missed something, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Once again, I’d like to wish all my readers (there’s more than one, right?) a very happy new year. My resolution is to keep using this place as a drop-off for stuff I need to store outside my own head.

Well, Itsacon’s Log is officially overhauled. For the old registered users, the old website parts are (for now) still available at the familiar links. I’ve imported the old ‘cats’ log into the new site, my photography experiments are mostly over at my Tripodplaces log and everything else was either unfinished or crap, and was ditched.
